When the dreams come,
As the lights fade,
And the shadows grow.
Ever longer,
Ever darker,
There you'll find me.

When the gloom and mists,
Of fears grip,
Decends upon you.
Ever growing,
Ever darker,
There you'll find me.

Hiding,
Lurking,
Shadows within the darkness,
Starring back at you.
There, but not there.
There you'll find me.

As the air grows heavy.
Ever so heavy.
Full of the Fears:
Those you thought left behind.
They're back to haunt you.
There you'll find me.

You feeling them closer,
Closer still.
You feel them flocking through the miasmer,
Like a herd of black sheep.
And I am their shepherd.
There you'll find me.

In that darkest of places.
Are you there yet?
That place far inside you.
That place we must forget to look,
Lest it will eat us alive.
There you'll find ME !
